Before I say anything, let me jsut say that POPUPS SUCK. ESPECIALLY THOSE REGARDING SEX THAT DISPLAY HOT WOME-- I mean, I hate popups. Anyway, that temporary distraction aside...

School
It's been straight meeeehhh. To recap, let's head on over to everyone's favorite class, CHEMISTRY!!! Chem is... chem. B-ritter smacks us with a test and throughout the fifty minutes in which we do it, you hear the word "shit" muttered repeatedly. Multiple choice is the hardest you've seen since AE Bio's test from yesterday. After painstakingly getting through the multiple choice, thirty mintues remain to do... ten word problems!?!?! Your pencil is screeching on the paper; B-ritter is muttering about question #9; you're on #3. Your hand is blazing; your muscles are screaming; your diaphragm has contracted unnecessarily; your breathing has stopped until you've finished question #5. B-ritter says something about #9 again, but you've already taken off on question #6. As you finish #6, you suck on your poor hand, trying to sooth the fiery pain, desperately working out the cramp... but it's no use. Finally B-ritter crosses off #9 entirely, just as you skip #7 and own #8. One minute warning as you blaze through #10... and as you're going, the bell rings. Determined, you finish #10, BS #7 entirely, and turn it in, swearing compulsively as you stride to get a crossword.

63/70. A miracle... but I'll take it. Now those two labs better not screw me over.. hell, I'll be content with a B+ lab average; I'm anticipating some ownage squared on the midyears.

Jerry is Jerry. A solid 3.2/5 on the mini-quiz that I actually read/prepared... I couldn't care less. He slid up some bullshit B- on an essay, leaving me muttering bitterly with an 83 term average. I accepted my fate, much as I accepted my 88 in my soon-to-be-ninja'ed-French class. Did I mention that I hate French class? Sad, too, that I actually have a fairly competent teacher. But she has no sense of pacing: two weeks of subjunctive followed by an unprecedented last-day-of-quarter test. As the quarter ends, another two or three weeks pass as we discuss international events all class long. Overkill? Poor sense of time and learning? Boredom? Yes.

Anyway, with the "traditional French rant" aside, MATH is just as awesome as ever. We have now finished Trigonometry... never again shall we study measures of triangles. Can we have a moment of silence, please?

*sniff

Well, we must all move on... for now, it's Analytic Geometry for us all, directly succeeding an itty-bitty miniquiz! I got a 96 on the test. Not bad, but could've been better if I'd been less stupid and actually noticed that my correction was part of a many-point-problem. =_=;;;... anyway, I'm pretty pleased. =)

AE History is going pretty smoothly; I missed a homework but handed it in for 90% credit. I owned the last test with a cool 99. Smooth sailing.

AE Bio!!!!!! 93 on last test, meh-ish but I'll take it calm and easy.

Overall, a surprisingly stressful week academically. Labs sucked up massive amounts of time on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday; Thursday was MATH team [I got owned. Drop it]. Tests in AE History, AE Bio, Chem, and Trig. I totally slacked off Friday; well-deserved I might add.

Other stuff
Not a massive week for gaming. I beat MGS3 a second time. A totally, totally beautiful ending. Not an extremely long game at 20 hours, it is surprisingly well-paced and strikes an unparalleled balance... well, you've all heard the extravagant praise before, but I can't help its ownage.

Not much to say on the front of MGS. I played more of DDR and Mario Kart than of MGS. =_=;;;... I will confront Vulcan Raven and own him shortly. The Metal Gear Solid main theme owns ass. Learning to play it au piano, wot.

Superbowl last Sunday. Patriots win omg dynasty omg. We had a party at ours on the massive HDTV, which consisted of little white girls playing DDR and Mario Kart downstairs, really bad ping pong players, and subpar Superbowl commercials. In other words, a typical Sunday.

Still, February is shaping up to be a mild improvement.. stay tuned.
