Believe the hype.

Despite the talk of CSelloutC, it still gets the job done, and done the best.

A quick word about the site change.

Warning: To retain any sort of dignity, I suggest that you leave to a better place immediately. You have been warned.

Since most of you visiting this website probably know what's going on by now, I'm going to assume in this introduction that you recognize this site - if you don't know, don't worry; you'll figure it out. But the first question I want to pose is: What went wrong?

It is March, 2004. Yu-Gi-Oh! at school has reached its second climax: We all sense that the rage, this epitome of geekdom is drawing to a close. This time... for good. For great justice, this website is bringing in hits like never before. Morale is high, rations are sufficient, and in general, everyone was having fun playing the game.

April came and went, and May. Interest in Yu-Gi-Oh! sank like a senior's grades before finals. And what happened to this site? Nothing whatsoever. With minimal updates, the site still pulled in visitors from all over. April and May were good times of mega high stress, yet the site didn't lose any visitors. In fact, it seemed primed for immortality, thanks to a fiery sermon regarding someone very unpleasant.

Summer vacation destroyed the site. As the school year drew to a close, the site interest simply vanished. The Jerks forum slowed down considerably and everyone refused to update his or her site. Admittedly, this site received quite few updates itself. And therein, I believe, lies the problem.

This site needs something new. Something fresh. Something that it didnt' offer before. And, unfortunately, I don't have it on me.

But as we can see, I am renewing my efforts in improving the site. I hope that it'll rekindle the interest that once drew us to the same message board, endlessly complaining, shamelessly bragging, rudely insulting and in general having a good time online as a group. Today I believe that Yu-Gi-Oh! and obtaining a social life do not rank among our top interests, so I realize that this site will likely never experience a similar Golden Age. But I am making my effort. Welcome to Denny's House of Pancaeks, center of irrelevance and lavish Chrono Trigger praise.

Enter with Caution.
