SweetHearts vs Lady Renegades

Tonight was to be the story of "Lady K" or "K-gun" or "Rocket" as she is better known as. Megan started the night on a roll as she struck out the first three batters she faced on just 11 pitches. It would be story of the night. On the flip side the SweetHearts jumped out to a fast three run lead on a single by Karlie, Natalie being hit by a pitch and Meghan's double and numerous wild pitches by the Renegades pitcher.

In the second "Rocket" was at it again striking out the first two before the catcher dropped the third strike on the next one allowing the batter to get to first. Meghan promptly struck out the next batter on four pitches to end the ending. The 'Hearts managed nothing in the second.

The third was more of the same for Meghan as she took down batters 8-9-10 on just 12 pitches. 'Hearts score a lone run by Adrienne on a sac-fly by Sara.

The fourth would see the only hit by the Lady Renegades as Dakota lined a shot back at Meghan and off her glove for a single. All it did was make Meghan mad as she proceeded to mow down the next three batters with seemingly little effort. The SweetHearts did add to their run count with two with base hits by Dana and a weird inside the park-overthrow-everywhere-run scored by Kelsey J.

The fifth saw three more Ks as Meghan moved her total for the night to 16 Ks in just 17 batters. At one point she had a two game string of 13 Ks in a row. She now has 29 strike outs in her first three games of the season.
