Voodoo From the very beginning both coaches were looking for a fun, good, entertaining game. Both team's were struggling with pitching problems and both coaches hated being in games of 'walk after walk after walk'. The Voodoo coach voted to bat first because the the 'cut off time' is still in play with the park. It seemed to be a good idea since her first three batters managed to score before the 'Hearts could manage to get three outs. In the bottom of the first, the SweetHearts could manage only two runs after Hayleigh scored on a steal of home. Brook also scored before the third out was made. In the second Voodoo began running up the score one steal at a time. As the 'Hearts changed pitchers four times, Voodoo increased the score by eight runs taking an 11-2 lead. The bottom of the SweetHearts' lineup began to put things together as Jillian scored followed by Alexis, and Courtney. And out later Brooke, Madison, Chelsea, and Heyleigh all scored. The score was now close but time was ticking away. With only 7-8 minutes left to play, Coach greg opted to try to at least tie the score. He told Haley to be ready to steal second if things looked right after her walk. She attempted the steal on coach's orders but was thrown out by a perfect throw and tag at second. The sad part was that Bayliegh got hit by the pitch the very next at bat and would have pushed Haley to second anyway. Brook then came up with two outs and ended the game with a one run loss - 10-11.
