SweetHearts vs Warriors Tuesday, May 7, 2002 20th Anniversary Season ~ Game # 287  From
the very first grunt of the opposing pitcher’s release to the agonizing
end of a 15-run-ruled game, the SweetHearts never seemed to get into this
one. The team barely managed to bat the roster once in three innings of
play. In that time only Claire got on base with a hit.
The Before the SweetHearts play agin they will have to be able to fix the
routine plays and make them outs instead of dropped balls and missed tags.

Warriors pitcher struck out 6 of 12 batters and walked only one as she
dominated the ‘Hearts. The SweetHeart’s Meghan McLendon pitched to 26 batters
allowing 16 runs on 10 hits and eight walks. She had one strike out.
