SweetHearts vs Cajun Twisters
Thursday, May 27, 2004 - F14 - 5:30pm - Game #317

It looked as though the SweetHearts were going to have a repeat of last night as the jumped out to a comfortable 6-0 lead in the top of the first inning. The Cajun Twisters coach began to complain about almost every call. yet his team battled back to tie the game at 6 all.

In the second the 'Hearts managed only one run from the bottom of the batting order and began to worry about the Twisters getting a lead. It didn't happen. Tori C. came in to pitch and managed to get the Twister to hit into simple, routine plays aided by Cherrie's second double play in two games.

In the Third the teams traded single runs to enter the final inning with just one run separating them. The 'Hearts manufactured two runs on skillful base running following two walks and two hit batters.

Tori then was able to hold off the Twisters just long enough to allow the team to earn a 10-9 victory raising the 'Hearts record to 3-1.

The SweetHearts managed to score 10 runs on just one hit and more than 30 stolen bases.
