SweetHearts vs The Dynomites

A repeat of a game should mean a better game but this one came out almost the same a the first time.

First Inning: One run on a base on balls from a player that can hit the ball hard should tell you how the came is going to go. Shelby started the game for the SweetHearts but was followed by a pop-up, a routine out, and an over run third base. It should have been a warning of things to come. The Dynomites came to bat ready to play as they hit, hit and hit scoring  nine runs in 14 batters before Micaela could stop the team.

The game was marred by odd calls from the umpires and severalcalls that were simply blown. The coaching staff wanted to argued a number of them but were held back resulting in innings being cut short. Foul balls that were called fair, tags that were called by the wrong ump, and plays that were called out by the wrong umpire made the game almost laughable. The final problem was the plate umpire walking off the field before the end of the game was over leaving in someone from the stands. The game did continue with the one remain "good" umpire who seem to 'know' the rules and was trying to make the right calls.

Second Inning: In the second the SweetHearts fared better making a game of things getting four runs from the bottom of the order on a series of walks. However, the top of the order sputtered again ending the 'Hearts dream of catching the Dynomites. With the score of 9-5 the Dynomites piled on three more runs to again take the game farther apart for the SweetHearts.

Third Inning: By the third the 'Hearts fizzled out with routine outs and strikeouts at the plate. The Dynomites would have none of it as they pounded Micaela's pitching for another five runs from the bottom of their order to take the game 17-5 as time ran out.
