SweetHearts vs The Heat

Tonight's game didn't look much like last night. Following pictures that a couple of veteran players didn't show up for, the team took the field short-handed and had the game called well before time had expired.

First Inning: The SweetHearts began with two players missing the game - Shelby due to illness and Terrah because who knows what. This meant players playing out of position. After Alexis' walk Micaela popped up and Savannah and Courtney struck out. The Heat wasted no time putting runs on the board as their first batter walked followed by a homerun then a second home run. to take a 3-0 lead. However good fielding due to Micaela, Sammie, and Savannah managed to keep the inning close.

Second Inning: Poor base running put the SweetHearts out of the second inning as simple walks turned into quick outs. The Heat ran up the score on three walks, two hits and a homerun to stretch the score to 10-0.

Third Inning: The 'Heats could do nothing in the third again due to poor base running after three walks. Micaela gave up another two runs in the bottom of the third before coach called the game before the umpires did. The Heat took the game 12-0.
