The game began with it looking like the Burner's Kristin Vincent would dominate the 'Hearts. She got the first batter to go down swinging then walked one. She then struck out a second batter before Amanda came to bat. Claire then stole home and Amanda got on with a sharp liner to the outfield. She then stole third before Karli walked. Amanda then stole home to finish the 'Hearts opening inning. In the bottom of the first Meghan shut down the BaseBurners on two strike outs and a perfect throw from Macy to Leah (SS to 1st) leaving the Burners in shock, down 2-0.

In the Second Kristin threw 3 strike outs in a row to get command of the game. In the bottom half of the inning struck out the first batter then got help with a routine out at first. The next batter hit a soft dribble to second that was bobbled. With that the 'Heart's pitching fell apart giving p four runs before closing the inning with a strike out.

In the third the SweetHearts rallied for three runs sandwiched between three strike outs to retake the lead 5-4. It would be the last time. After an opening strike out the game escape the 'Hearts as pitching errors, fielding errors, and other mistakes gave the Burners six runs and a 10-5 lead.
Iniing four saw the 'Hearts shut out again, and the BaseBurners picking up two more runs.

The 'Hearts managed two runs in the top of the fifth before the game was called. The SweetHearts fell to 7-4-1 on the season with two games to go. The 'Hearts are one win short of a winning season.
