SweetHearts vs Cajun Twisters

20th Anniversary Season ~ Game # 293

The Twisters couldn't get enough players to the game, therefore, it became a forfeit win for the SweetHearts. Both teams wanted to play so the "game" went on without umpires. Speaking of umpires, neither young ladies were willing to stay and call even though they got paid no matter what. Coach Greg was a little disappointed since one, Brandi, is always asking him for umpire advice or what a call should have been and he always helps her out. The other umpire, Christine, is a former SweetHeart and four year member of Blue Thunder, coach Greg's tournament team. Coach gave her four years of his life coaching her and also gave her her first start at shortstop. She just won All-Southwest Louisiana Honors at shortstop - and she wouldn't stay and call. Now that hurts!

Since the kids wanted to play, we turned the game into a great opportunity to take pictures. Below you will find lots of 'game' photos.
