SweetHearts vs Lady Renegades

20th Anniversary Season ~ Game # 292
One hit short of a perfect game. Meghan opened the game against the Lady Renegades by allowing the first batter to hit a single to right field. The runner managed to steal second two pitches later but that was the end of the line for the Renegades. From that point on Meghan pitched a no hit, five strike out, no walk ball game.

On the other side of the ball Meghan joined her teammates in having a field day at the plate. Claire lead the way with a perfect 3 for 3 game including a homerun. Amanda continued her dominance at the plate going 3 for 4. She is 11 of 13 for the season. Going 2 for 3 were Meghan, Leah, and Ashleigh.

After the first inning the SweetHearts scored almost at will as the crossed the plate six times in the second, twice in the third, and eight times in the fourth. The game was called in the bottom of the fouth due to the 15-run mercy rule.

The SweetHearts upped their record to 4-2-1 as the reach the mid-point of the season.
