SweetHearts vs Lady Renegades

The team began the evening by posing for team pictures taken by a former SweetHeart turned professional photographer. The game was against a team much closer to the SweetHearts than the Krush. The 'Hearts opened the game with two runs off a double by Tori and a single by Grace. In the bottom half Mary got off to a shaky start on the mound giving up multiple walks and hits allowing the Lady's to get three runs before Tori was brought in to close out the inning.

In the second the 'Hearts managed five runs aided by a HR by Alyssa. The Lady Renegades came right back with eight runs of their own as the 'Hearts struggled on the mound. The team went through Tori, Samantha, back to Mary, and Brandy to close out the inning.

In the third the 'Hearts came smashing back with ten runs to take a 17-8 lead. Last year's pitcher, Brandy, went back to the mound and closed out the Lady Renegades in three batters taking the win.

The 'Hearts upped their record to 3-6 with five games to go. The team was lead with three hits by Brandy and Grace. Alyssa had two hits.
