Five games to go and the season doesn't look much like it's going to be the year we had hoped for. The Base Burners ace pitcher faced only 12 batters and struck out ten. Only two batters got the bat on the ball - Michaela and Alyssa. The 'Hearts had absolutely no base runners at all tonight.

On the flip side the BBs were able to score at will picking up four runs in the first, six in the second, one in the third, and closing out the game with eight in the fourth before coach and the umpired called "game". The recreation park has a "15 run mercy rule" in place for games like this.

Taylor pitched most of the game doing a fair job facing the Base Burners hitters who were huge in size and hit the ball well when they weren't walked. The 'Hearts played with more excitement and desire tonight than in previous games but it didn't help much against the Burners.

Taylor allowed 19 runs on 10 hits, 10 walks, and 5 strike outs. She faced 32 batters. Leah closed one inning with a walk and a strike out.
