SweetHearts vs The Stingrays

       The Stingray's coach, Dwana, told me late Wednesday that the team had "folded up" a week or so ago. However, the park never called and told us. Coach was looking forward to this game - not for the possible win - but for the chance to finish the season with the matching payback from 25 years ago. [Dwana, as a young pitcher totally dominated the SweetHearts back in 1983] Also the girls wanted to just play ball. The schedule looked great back in May - we played the first time-slot of the season and we would play the very last time-slot of the 2007 season - perfect for the 25th season. It didn't happen. A Forfeit win is not what we wanted.
