SweetHearts vs Lady Krush

       A threat of rain all night didn't damped the power of the SweetHearts. In what appeared to be a great game before the first pitch turned out to be a "Krushing" defeat for the Lady Krush.

The 'Hearts opened the game on offense by scoring four runs following the opening strike out. At that point the coaches still worried about Krush's power by Taylor solved that in just 17 pitches as she struck out the first three batters she faced.

In the top of the second, the SweetHearts went on a scoring rampage scoring 14 runs before the final out. Taylor went back on the mound and again shut the Krush down in just 13 pitches and three more strike outs.

By the third inning the Krush had changed pitchers several times keeping the 'Hearts to just six more runs. Leah then came in to replace Taylor and gave up two runs but only face four batters getting one strike out before game time was called.

The SweetHearts finished the night with a 19-2 win, seven strike outs in 10 batters faced and just one walk. Terrah topped the night with a solid triple, and two hit nights were turned in by Megan, Jeannette, Micaela, Blanche, and Savannah. All but one player got a hit tonight.
