SPAR Sulphur Parks And Recreation SPAR is the governing body for a multi-sport, multi-complex in the City of Sulphur, Louisiana. SPAR contorls more than 40 softball/baseball fields, numerous soccer and football fields, tennis courts, handball courts, basketball pavillions, volleyball courts, swimming pools, indoor game rooms, four basketball/volleyball gyms, various walking paths, family barbeque pavillions, meeting rooms, golf course, driving range, eating areas, batting cages, and playgrounds. SPAR is a multimillion dollar operation for a town of approx. 26,000.
