Batting Leaders

At the request of several players and coaches, I went back through the scorebooks and stat sheets to compile the batting leaders with at least a .300 batting average over the course of a season. Take into consideration that comparing batters from one year to the next is a little unfair considering the differences and numbers of good pitchers each year. These numbers are based on seasons of 6 to 16 games. Rainouts, forfeits, shorten games, 10 run rule games also must be taken into account. With that said, here are the numbers:
