Serena: But Mum, really? Hot springs? Aren't they for over-the-edge wackos? Oh, I hate that stupid thing!

Serena's Dad: WHAT?! REALLY?!

Serena: Dad, like even... Wow! This is great!
Serena: Hey, what a beautiful lake.
Sammy: Yeah, but where's the video arcade?
Serena's Dad: Your mother and I have special memories about this place 'cause this is where we first met.
Serena's Mum: It seems like yesterday.
Serena: Huh? *thinking* My locket. Why is it playing? Oh Darien...
Serena's Mum: Serena, it's time to check in now. What's wrong, honey?
Serena: Uh, no-nothing. Let's go.
Queen Beryl: So you've detected powerful energy emissions emanating from this lake?
Malachite: It's exceptionally strong and similar to our power, but there's something very different about it.
Queen Beryl: Yes. Prince Darien, investigate this immediately.
Prince Darien: Yes.
Malachite: Queen Beryl...
Queen Beryl: Hmm?
Malachite: Uh... Prince Darien's been acting strangely lately. Do you think it's possible he's found out all his memories have been erased?
Queen Beryl: I don't know, but I don't want to take any chances, Malachite. I want you to keep a close eye on him.
Malachite: As you wish, my queen.
Queen Beryl: Prince Darien must remain under my complete control. He is key to my retrieveing the Imperium Crystal.
Serena: Oh, unbelievable. No video arcade, but the view is something else.
Serena's Dad: And you thought this place was just for old folks like us.
Serena's Mum: Come in, Sammy. It feels really good.
Serena: Sammy, what's wrong with you? Forget how to swim?
Sammy: Of course not. Water smells weird.
Serena's Dad: That's just the sulfur in the water. You'll get used to it, Sammy.
Serena's Mum: It's not so bad smelling like rotten eggs.
Serena: There! Now you're in.
Sammy: Very funny.
Serena: OH! Give that back, you dweebster!
Serena's Mum: Serena, lower the decibels.
Serena's Dad: Ah, they're okay.
Serena: Sammy, wanna make it to puberty?
Sammy: Hah! Come and get it.
Serena: I'm warning you!
Sammy: Hey, awesome view. I can see for just miles.
Serena: Got it! What are you looking at?
Sammy: Look. There's some guy in a suit. Down there.
Serena: What? Where? Darien! Oh...
Sammy: Huh? So now where's that dweebster off to?
Serena: Oh, Darien? Da... Oh. No, it's not him. Huh? There's my locket again. Huh? Oh... oh... Darien?
Darien: There's something... about that music that seems familiar.
Serena: Come on. Wake up, Darien. It's me, Serena. Please. Remember?
Darien: Darien? Serena? I've never heard these names before. What is it that you want?
Serena: Never heard? How can you say that? Oh, can't you remember me?
Serena's Mum: Serena.
Serena: Mum? *thinking* Oh... Oh Darien...
Serena's Mum: Are you all right, Serena? We were worried about you.
Serena: Oh, uh... I'm fine.
Serena's Mum: Oh. It's the Guardians of the Lake. They have quite a story.
Serena: Huh? What about them?
Serena's Mum: It's an ancient legend. There was a young man who fell in love with a water sprite who lived in the lake, but there was a girl from this town who also loved him, and when she saw them together, she got so jealous, she turned into a vicious monster and attacked everything in sight. The only way the young man and the water sprite could stop her was by harnessing the power of their love to seal her beneath the lake. Their energy all gone, they rose into the sky and became two happy stars guarding the lake, and the jealous sprite was doomed to be... miserable forever.
Serena: They sealed her, the spirit, in this lake?
Serena's Mum: Oh... we'd better head back, or you'll catch cold.
Serena: Oh Mum...
Serena's Mum: My poor little girl. Now... Serena, when you find a boy that you like...
Serena: Huh?
Serena's Mum: you should bring him home and introduce him to us. Your dad would like that. Okay?
Serena: Uh, yeah. Okay. I will... someday... *thinking* someday, when he comes back.
Darien: This legend about the evil spirit in the lake. Hmm� Maybe it's not just a legend.
Malachite: So, Darien, you've figured out what the energy in the lake is, but what will you do with it?
Darien: *thinking* You ancient creature of the lake, wake up. I am ending your captivity. *speaking* So, I am your master now. I COMMAND YOU TO RISE AND OBEY ME!
Spirit: Obey YOU?! Never!
Spirit: Free at last!
Malachite: Ha ha. Poor Prince Darien. Looks like he's dredged up a whole lot more than he can handle. Should be fun.
Spirit: Revenge will be mine. Where is she, that wretched water sprite?! Huh? Finally, she'll pay! There she is, and now the fun begins. YES!
Darien: Oh, wait! Where are you going?
Serena: Darien, you're still out there. I know it... but it's like you're not here at all.
Serena's Dad: Serena, is something wrong?
Serena: Huh? Oh... uh... I was just looking at the full moon. Isn't it something else?
Serena's Dad: Yeah, you're right. It sure is.
Serena: It's so bright, it's even making my eyes water. Oh, I'd better have another bath before dinner. I'm starving. See you later. Bye.
Serena's Family: Huh?
Serena's Dad: Teenagers. I just don't get her. Sometimes, she acts like she's from another planet, you know?
Serena: I'm not gonna let this get to me. No way. So Darien doesn't remember me. As if. How DARE he not remember me!
Spirit: Revenge is mine.
Serena: Huh? Wh-what was that?
Spirit: Your scariest nightmare!
Serena: Sea monster?! WITH BAD HAIR?! EW!
Serena's Mum: Serena! Quick, get over here right now! Come on, hurry!
Serena: No problem, Mom! I'm coming! Let's get outta here!
Serena's Dad: Come on! Quickly!
Serena's Mum: Head for the trees!

Serena: OH! All right! That's it! How dare you terrorize my family, you reject from a fish factory! Go slink back to whatever... sewer you came from!
Serena's Dad: Oh yeah! Make my day, swamp thing! Uh... uh, maybe that can be another day.
Serena & Sammy: DADDY!
Serena's Mum: HONEY!
Serena's Dad: AAH! LET ME GO!
Serena: AAH! I gotta stop her! MOON...
Serena's Mum: AAH! Honey, are you all right?
Sammy: Who's the guy in the cape?
Serena: He should be here to help us, at least... I hope.

Spirit: I'll take care of that!
Sailor Jupiter & Sailor Venus: Sailor Moon!
Sailor Venus: VENUS CRESCENT BEAM SMASH!
Sailor Jupiter: JUPITER THUNDER CRUSH! We gotcha!
Sailor Venus: Looks like we didn't get her so good after all.
Spirit: You're mine!
Sailor Moon: Try this, sister-sludge! MOON TIARA MAGIC! Totally dusted! I've had it with this Negamonster! SHE'S SUPPOSED TO BE DUSTED! OH!
Sailor Mars: Hmm. Strange. I sense she's very evil and extremely strong, but she's definitely not from the Negaverse.
Tuxedo Mask: You're right, Sailor Mars. It's all my fault. I'm the one who woke the thing up and released it from the lake, and I'm the one who should take care of it.
Sailor Mars: No way, pal. Evil happens to be my specialty. I call upon the power of Mars! FIREBALLS CHARGE! Check this out, swamp-trash! MARS FIRE IGNITE!

Sammy: SERENA! Oh, I hope she's okay. I shouldn't have been so mean to her all the time.
Serena: That's for sure.

Serena: Mum! Dad!
Serena's Mum: Serena!
Serena: Oh...
Serena's Mum: I was so worried about you.
Serena: I'm sorry. *thinking* Oh, I sure have a great family. Mom and Dad are always there for me, and Sammy well, everyone's gotta have some irritation in their life.
Serena: *thinking* Oh, I've got way cool friends, too.
Raye: Check out the moon.
Serena: *thinking* We may fight sometimes, especially Raye and me, but we're solid when it counts. Really solid.
Lita: Hey, Earth to Serena. Hey, why so pensive? What are you thinking about?
Serena: Oh, lots of things. I was just thinking: I hope I never get so jealous I turn into some creeped-out monster. I mean, that'd be totally bad. I mean, way harsh.
Amy: Oh, we'll make sure of that.
Raye: That's for sure.
Mina: But just in case, better take a dunk in the hot springs.
