| The Village Sign & The Village Pound |

| The village sign to commemorate the Jubilee, stands on the corner, near the village hall. It was unveiled on Saturday June 16th 1979. Depicted on it are the mill, (since destroyed), the church, the pound & John of Gaunts House. |
| The Pounds stands at the cross roads at the Trunch end of the village. Stray animals that were impounded, could be reclaimed on the payment of a fine. The triangular plan of this pound is most unusual. |
