Drakkin Empire of Enzan Shi Ten'oio's Success Ten'oio looked at the drakkinlings with a kind of hidden contempt. They were different, strange... tainted? no, they were still pure drakkins. Except for that odd not-albino. What kind of genes would that creature propagate? She shuddered at the state of gene pool, should that strange beast somehow prove his worth and sire a clutch. How could Dwahro have let this happen? She glanced at the breeder. He was glaring at a strange androgynous fellow standing with the other buyers. The man was smirking at the bright and dark and strange drakkinlings playing around their rather unresponsive mother. So he was responsible? Well, if her drakkin turned out to be anything less than it should, he would pay. The breeders had taken the two normal ones and the two brightest ones. There were some that looked more normal than others. She frowned at the almost albino and then turned her gaze to the others, her eyes settling on the larger reddish young one that was most likely female. However, Dwahro was speaking and she paid close attention to his words. Dwahro carefully explained that the large amount of hatchlings was due to their mother being a twin. That, Ten'oio frowned, was obvious. "Let us begin with perhaps the most significant youngling." Dwahro spoke, glancing at the large female. She blinked at him, then moved to Ten'oio's feet. The strange creature responsible for her bizarre colour, the colour of dried blood or old meat, called her colouring mincemeat. It was appropriate. Better than the colours of her siblings which could only be described as edible fruits. The female looked at Ten'oio in a way that could only be described as condescending. Ten'oio bristled a little, yet decided that it was not worth the trouble to challenge the little beast's authority. She was the key to creating an army, after all. Dwahro continued to give out the drakkinlings. The strange creature received two, making her scowl. However, every Ten'oio smirked at the one whom received the supposed weakling. "Come, Teno-ra," Ten'oio looked at the young female, "your males will look forward to meeting you." She could have sworn that the drakkin smirked before following her. ![]() main :: members :: drakkin :: stories |
