Drakkin Empire of Enzan Shi

Runyar's Success

Runyar grabbed a hold of Run'nytra's collar before he could charge at the door. The blue drakkin was getting rather large now and it took much effort to restrain him. "Who is it?" Runyar called.

"Surprise." A sharp voice snapped, the door slamming open.

Runyar let go of Run'nytra without much further thought. "Shit." He muttered.

"Now, little brother, is that any way to greet your sister?" Ten'oio replied, standing in the doorway.

"You're stuck out there, you realize." He growled.

"You're forgetting something, Runny," She teased, stepping through, "The normal rules don't apply to us anymore... They haven't since we drank the blood of that dragon."

Run'nytra bowled over the snobby vampire, trapping her beneath his considerably strong mass. She clawed at him and he growled. Runyar had trained his drakkin to wait for the command to kill, so he did not do more than keep her pinned down. Which was good, as vampire blood would kill him.

"Get out." Runyar snarled.

"Or what?" She taunted.

He gestured at the wall on both sides of the door, marked with crosses. He picked up a wooden stake and tossed it in the air casually. "Or I'll shove this through what used to be your heart." He responded.

Her eyes widened. He had never threatened her before. Runyar gave a sharp whistle and Run'nytra dragged her out onto the pavement. The shifter closed the door behind them.

Minutes later, the blue drakkin returned through the flap added to the bottom of the door. Runyar rubbed at Run'nytra's head gratefully, "Good boy." He murmured, adding the stake to the belt around his waist.
