Drakkin Empire of Enzan Shi Kayun's Sucess - Part Two Kayun boredly tapped his fingers against the edge of his chair. His leader should have contacted him by now to check on Kay-chak and Kay-chatos's progress. However, she was late. Kayun grumbled to himself. Kay-chatos nudged his arm. "Mipicays?" He asked, tilting his head. Nondar snorted from his position loungeing on the stairs. "Moopiecakes." He muttered to himself, chuckling. "At least I have something that likes me, Nondar, unlike you." The younger vampire shot back irritably. "Oooh, I felt that deep, youngster." The other vampire teased, smirking. In the few years they had been locked in that house with eachother, the older vampire had learned exactly how to annoy his superior. However, Kayun had to merely mention shoes or dancing and the elder of the pair would storm off. The shifters found this pestering relationship amusing. And why should they not? Yaavan and Runyar had been rather foul company, vanishing for the majority of the night when the vampires were awake. Sanye, it seemed, was simply toying with Kayun's mind with her attentions and had found new amusement for she too absented herself. So, that left Kayun with Nondar and Helevorn. However, he managed to get away to train his pair of drakkin. Since the beginning, it had been rather obvious that Kay-chak was the more vicious. However, Kay-chatos was more rounded in stats and a lot smarter. Therefore, Kayun decided to try the ferocious purple in the arena first. It might give him a nice blow the ego. Hele'nysar sauntered into the room and Kay-chak growled at him. The brown drakkin gave the younger a look of contempt. That made the young purple pounce on him. Kayun, Nondar and Kay-chatos watched them boredly until the fight came to a truce. Helevorn's drakkin did not have enough endurance to endure the younger, yet Kayun's purple was rather weak in strength. Either way, they would probably not get very far with their statistics. Kayun gently scratched Kay-chatos's head. He had plans for his red, plans that would make him stronger than his brother. Still, he needed to speak with Ten'oio. The wall made a buzzing noise then a sucking sound. Instantly, Ten'oio was looking at him. Kayun raised an eyebrow at her. "You're late." He said softly. "I am never late, Kayun." She answered evenly. "I arrive precisely when I mean to, neither late nor early." Nondar snorted. The female vampire raised an eyebrow at him. "Nondar, have you been spending time with the Lord Breeder Tolethven as I instructed you?" She asked curtly. The brown-haired, somewhat handsome vampire glowered. "No. That... freak... hasn't called me back. However, I get the feeling I'm being followed." "Followed?" Kayun and Ten'oio barked with laughter. "Who would want to follow you?" Kayun asked, aware of Kay-chak's sneeze of scorn. Nondar glowered at them more still and stood up abruptly. "If I am needed." He said sharply and swept up the stairs. Kayun sighed. "You positive we need to keep him here?" He asked his leader. "Yes." She answered evenly. "So, they are officially adults now I believe?" Kayun nodded. "Yes, officially. I have trained them daily since I received them and Kay-chatos shows great potential. However, I would like to enter Kay-chak in the first contest when the Arena is opened publicly." "If Kay-chatos shows more potential, why enter Kay-chak?" Ten'oio asked, leaning back in her chair. "So that he can take a good blow to the ego." The younger vampire answered. Kay-chatos smirked at his brother and wagged his tail proudly. Kay-chak glowered and growled. Kayun raised a hand and the purple quieted obediently, yet reluctantly. "How have things been with the shifters?" The lady-vampire asked. "As well as can be expected. They are gone by night and day, only returning for the twilight." He answered sourly. Ten'oio laughed. "Sanye decided to leave you to your own devices?" She asked, then smirked. "Serves you right." Kayun grumbled incoherently for a few moments. Then, Kay-chatos gently tugged on his sleeve. "Mipicays!" He said urgently. Kayun looked around instinctively and saw Hele'nysar pinning Kay-chak to the ground. "For the love of the dark!" He cried exasperatedly and proceeded to bodily pull the brown drakkin from his. "Leave him alone you lump of brown spiney hide!" Ten'oio chuckled. "Report when you have something of importance to say, Kayun." She said firmly. Kayun was unable to reply as he had to bodily drag Hele'nysar - who was snarling and snapping - to the 'penalty pen' which was little more than a small box with a light. This lighting was uncomfortably bright for the drakkin and it made them reluctant to go inside. It also enforced that fact that such a thing they were doing was wrong. Kayun closed the barred door in Hele'nysar's snarling face. "You attack when Helevorn tells you to." He said sharply. "You do not attack other Khila drakkin." The brown drakkin refused to be submissive and, consequently, was left in the penalty box until Helevorn got home. Then the wolf-shifter gave his drakkin a thorough punishment of his own style. Kayun and his drakkin watched boredly. They had nothing to do but wait, after all. ![]() ![]() main :: members :: drakkin :: stories |
