Drakkin Empire of Enzan Shi Kayun's Sucess Kayun went to Tolethven's manor when he was called. He looked around and saw two women trainers walk up. He eyed them curiously. If what Helevorn had said was correct, a woman had been given an albino last time. A discreet but still visible insult... This clutch would be special, he knew. And the fact that he knew was driving him insane. Special, how? Would there be new colors? More than three drakkin? The door opened and the vampire stifled his sigh of relief. He was nearest to the door and took a step in, only to receive a sharp 'thwack!' in the face. From a foam bat. That said, in a sighing girl's voice: "My heart is yours forever, moopiecakes!" Kayun's face contorted into an odd expression of amusement, anger, insult and somewhat pain. After all, he had just gotten whacked in the face with a foam bat. The girl holding it burst into giggles at words and laughed even harder at his expression. She got herself under control before Kayun was able to decide if he was actually angry. The others cautiously followed and, as they entered, Kayun caught sight of a pleased grin on a woman's face. Her gift, eh? Kayun grumbled crossly to himself. "I'm truely sorry, sir." The girl said, but covered her mouth with a hand so as to not laugh. The one that had given the foam bat to Tolethven muttered. "Moopiecakes." Under her breath. The other female looked as amused as the young girl, who was probably going to burst into laughter again. "Why don't we introduce ourselves?" She suggested. It turned out that the bat-giver was named Melf, and the other was Tytula. She had been given the albino, he remembered. The young girl spoke again after the trainers had introduced themselves. "I am Kosca, Tolethven's daughter. He wasn't here to meet you himself because he's making sure the hatchlings are clean and presentable. He gave me leave to use one of his new toys. in the greeting." Her eyes sparkled as she held up the bat. "Not much of a weapon, but it's certainly got its purpose. Now I suppose you'd like to go see the hatchlings, hmm?" All of the trainers responded with affirmation at this. Kayun wondered why none of his information had mentioned her. Surely someone would mention Kosca if they were talking about the 'crazy breeder?' They walked into a pitch black set of rooms and Kayun politely declined night-vision goggles. His eyes adjusted quickly to the darkness and he smiled as they entered another room. There were drakkin everywhere, each with rectangles on their hides... Stickers? Each with a silly slogan. He stifled a laugh at the sight of Nys'asi, of whom he had heard Helevorn speak of, covered in them. Tolethven entered via a side door, two male drakkins following him. Also, there was a man dancing a highland jig, gagged and with his arms bound. Kayun laughed as he recognized the man as his fellow vampire Nondar. Nondar sent him a look full of venom, though the effect was lost when Kayun noticed that he was gagged with purple socks. The two drakkin were purple and red, males and strong-looking. "I invited your friend over to preview the hatchlings and supposedly get one up on you," Tolethven told Kayun, dark eyes sparkling. "He looked so formal and stuffy that I figured he could use a little entertainment. You think he'd know better than to put on 'gift shoes' from total strangers." Kayun grinned in response, his eyes glued to Nondar who continued to dance. Then he shifted his gaze to the hatchlings. Tolethven saw this and nodded, speaking nonchalantly. "They're yours, by the way, and you can take the lord of the dance here with you when you leave." Kayun stared at Tolethven. Two drakkin? To him? This clutch must be special if he got two well-bred fighting males. He saw the two women exchange a look of disbelief. However, the purple came up to him and pawed at his leg. With a small smile, he crouched and fondled the pair's ears. Toletheven decided to explain, "My lovely purple's clutch was indeed a special one, even more so than I'd thought. You see, she is the most recent female to be born in this city, nearly one hundred years ago. No one is sure of the reason, though there are certainly theories, and hotly debated ones at that. That stint of bad luck has finally ended with a bang. Cha?" The purple female drakkin walked towards them, two blue females at her heels. Kayun looked at them, then turned back to his males. "You two are better than any females, eh?" He said softly to them. The red nodded vigorously and the purple gently nipped his hand. "Two?" Melf murmured. "Twins," Tolethven agreed smugly, enjoying their expressions. "I was just as shocked, believe me, and they've been a handful to take care of." His tone became mournful as he turned to face Kayun. "I didn't want to saddle you with one of these spoiled ladies, my friend, and I didn't think you'd want to deal with the constant commands and orders." The three females glared at the breeder and Kayun covered a grin. The breeder rolled his eyes. "Well they are, and you know it." He told them. The females chose swiftly and Tolethven asked his daughter to go and get them some insects. There was no need to go through any speeches this time, they all had drakkin. Kosca looked at Nondar before she left and Kayun grinned. Who would not want a dancing vampire as their pet? "Let me see..." He murmured, looking at his two little drakkins. "You," he stroked the purple's head and nearly got nipped again, "will be Kay-chak." He looked at the red. "You will be Kay-chatos." Kay-chatos gave something of a chirp-warble cross when he was named. Kay-chak simply growled and pounced on the vampire. Kayun lifted the snapping creature off. Obviously not that obedient, quite ferocious and none too bright. "No." He said firmly. "Bad, Kay-chak." Nondar danced around him, looking at the two males with an offended expression. Kay-chatos grinned mischeiviously and pounced on the other vampire's foot. Kay-chak, to Nondar's misfortune, followed suite. The vampire danced frantically away from the two amused male drakkinlings. After the festivities, Kayun decided his friend had been embarassed enough and clapped. The shoes stopped and Nondar stood, panting. The vampire helped him take the shoes off and gave them back to Tolethven. "They'll only obey you or I." He said, grinning, and untied his comrade. Nondar seethed at him as the gag was removed. "I'll get you back." He snarled. Kay-chatos and Kay-chak snarled warningly. The vampire glared at them irritably and swept out of the Lord Breeder's manor. Kayun bowed to the drow. "Pleasure doing buisness with you, good sir." He said, grinning. "And enjoy the gifts." As he left with his drakkin, he swore he heard Kosca mutter 'Moopiecakes' to his back. Kay-chatos looked up at Kayun and wagged his tail. The vampire raised an eyebrow at him. "So, what do you think of spending the rest of your days with Kayun?" He asked. The red, however, shook his head. The vampire got an impression that the drakkin did not think Kayun was his name. "My name is not Moopiecakes." He protested in an undertone. The red drakkin, however, chirped slightly. The purple snorted at that and shook himself. The vampire rolled his eyes at them. Luckily they could not speak. Nondar was waiting when he got home. "Open a Portal home." He commanded. "I'm leaving." Kayun grabbed hold of his drakkin before they could jump on the other vampire. "If Ten'oio lets you." He answered. He opened a Portal in the same wall as before, sitting down in the chair in front of it. Kay-chatos curled up in his lap and Kayun gently stroked his head as the hatchling chewed on the chair. Kay-chak was administering the same treatment to the chair leg. "Heya, boss." He called affably, enjoying the jump he got for it. Ten'oio turned in her chair to reprimand him, until she saw the drakkin. "Two?" She asked, her eyes wide. "One of Cha-kinale's eggs hatched twin blue females." Kayun reported. "So he gave me the males." "Helevorn's is now an adult." Ten'oio informed him. "From what I know, Hele'nysar doesn't have any defence." The younger vampire countered. "These two have good stats, except the purple's a tad dumb." Proof to his words, Kay-chak did not even flick an ear at the mentioning. Kay-chatos grinned at his owner and nibbled on one of his hands. Kayun scratched the drakkin's head in response. "Very good, Kayun. It seems you and the wierd breeder get along well indeed." The vampire female grinned. "You may come home if you wish." Just as Kayun was about to decline, Nondar jumped into the conversation. "I want to leave." He said firmly. Ten'oio arched a brown eyebrow at him. "Do you?" She asked. "These people are mad, milady!" He snapped in answer. "Only Tolethven." Kayun interjected. "With your manner, you'd get along well with Dwahro." Ten'oio smiled slightly. "Yes, you would." She murmured. "Nondar! You're to stay in Rileikoul and present yourself in front of Dwahro at his next clutch." She barked. "What?" Nondar asked, then growled. "No! I won't stand another day here!" "Well, then, as your superior I can make you dance until Dwahro's next batch is open." Kayun offered with an evil grin. "Shut up, Moopiecakes!" Nondar snapped. "Moopiecakes?" Ten'oio asked mildly. "A foam bat gave me a nickname." Kayun answered off-handedly. "As to you, Nondar, do you want to be dancing the highland jig for the next few years?" The other vampire seethed at him. "No." He admitted. "Good, now, be a good subordinate vampire and leave the high-rankers to discuss buisness." Kayun said, smiling sweetly. Ten'oio chuckled. "Kayun, I am promoting you." She announced. "To Third." Kayun's eyes widened slightly. He had been ninth, now he was third. Oooh, the others would not be pleased. "For what reason, milady?" He inquired gracefully. "For earning such favor with Lord Breeder Tolethven." She answered in the same way. "As such, I am putting you in charge of the Rileikoul branch. You - by being my Third - are therefore above any other and you may dispatch them as you please." She smiled slightly. "Who would you like me to send you next?" "Let me see... We should have one representative of each species here - not counting myself - at all times..." His eyes lit up. "Sanye from the leopards-" He began. "Not all females, Kayun." Ten'oio warned him. "And you're not allowed to use your authority to force them to do anything." The vampire mock-pouted. "Please?" He asked. She remained adamant, though she smiled slightly. "No, Kayun. Sanye, you may have. Who else? Males." "Alright, alright..." He muttered. "Runyar for the cougars, since he'd probably catch Inrahi's fancy and make dealings with her easy... "And... Yaavan from the wolves since either Dwahro or Inrahi could like him." "You know about Yaavan and Runyar's dislike of eachother, I suppose?" His leader asked, her eyes bright. "Of course I do." He said nonchalantly. "But if you lock them in a house together with only Nondar, myself and Sanye as alternate company, they may forgo past hatred." "I doubt it, considering how much blood of either family was spilt by the other's." She said, but shrugged. "You'll have them." "How long until then?" He asked, nudging Kay-chak from the chair with his foot as it was beginning to tilt. "Five minutes." She answered, then turned her chair around. She picked up a crystalline orb from her desk. "Sanye, Yaavan and Runyar gather your things for living in Rileikoul. You hae five minutes to be in my office." She said clearly. Kayun nodded as she turned around. "Handy little object." He observed. She nodded. "What I say can be heard in any hallway in the complex." She informed him. Exactly five minutes later, the shifters entered Ten'oio's office. They were all in their half-shifted forms, which made the female all the more attractive to him. The vampire female grinned at them. "Kayun is in charge over there, so you had better listen to him. Oh, and take these with you." She gave them bags marked with a Lord or Lady's name on it. "These are offerings only to the drow whose name is on it." Sanye was first to step through the Portal. She grinned at Kayun as she moved out of the way, sitting on the arm of his chair. "How've you been?" She asked, her feline-delicate features deadly attractive. "Alright, and you?" He responded, ignoring Yaaven and Runyar's greetings. "Pouting." She answered, turning so that her feet touched his leg. "It's been rather drab without you around." "I must do my duty." He said solemnly and she purred. "Must you?" She asked toyingly, playing with his hair. "The others can settle themselves in, no?" He replied, smiling slowly. Kay-chatos jumped to the ground just in time as she slipped onto the vampire's lap. The two drakkin exchanged looks of disgust and Kay-chak ran off, daring his brother to chase. The red and purple ran past the other newcomers and Nondar, Kay-chatos slowly gaining on Kay-chak. Kayun grinned to himself. Things would not be so dull around the Khila Silae Dungortheb Rileikoul Headquarters any more. Even without the drakkin, he would have his hands full. But, he did not mind. Kay-chatos snorted at his owner as the two drakkin came back into the room. "Mipi!" He said clearly. "Mipicay ewww!" Sanye looked at him and laughed in her rich voice. Kayun did also, finding that the smarter drakkin was actually trying to say 'Moopiecakes.' But no one need know that. At least not yet. ![]() ![]() adult stories main :: members :: drakkin :: stories |
