Drakkin Empire of Enzan Shi Arena Battle Two Kayun stretched with a yawn only to be suddenly bombarded by excited feelings from Kay-chatos. "What the?" He demanded, sitting up and hitting his head on the headboard of his bed in the process. "Ow... Hey!" Nondar snickered. "A second contest has been announced at the arena." He said from the dark corner. "Did you move my headboard?" Kayun demanded, hitting the wood so that it fell back into place. "No, of course I didn't." The other vampire said innocently. Too innocently. Kayun glared at him. "Get out!" He snapped. He proceeded to get dressed and find Kay-chak and Kay-chatos. The purple male hissed at the mention of a contest, yet Kay-chatos looked eager. Kayun grinned and patted his red on the head. "Alright, I'll enter Kay-chatos for the Empire." So, he headed all the way down to the arena and signed his drakkin up. Then he went all the way back to headquarters. Rileikoul seemed big all of a sudden when you had to cross it twice in a day... *** The Day of the Contest Kayun placed Kay-chak as the Lady Ten'oio's bodyguard as soon as she arrived on the contest day. The purple seemed annoyed about it, but the red was in a good mood. A very good mood. A scarily good mood. They headed down to the arena with Helevorn and Nondar in tow. Nondar was coming at Ten'oio's orders. Helevorn was coming because he did not trust Kay-chak nor Aikanaro with his mistress's security. They reached the contest sponsored by Lady Inrahi in good time. Kayun was spotted by Tolethven and was soon engaged in avid conversation with him. When the gong sounded, Kayun excused himself from the Lord Breeder and went to spend some time with Kay-chatos. The red showed great promise and the vampire did not want him to get too hyped up over the first battles. The first battle went to Peturmiles, against Denyv'e. The second, between Kai'Itop and Thanatos, was seemingly easily won by the former. The third was Kay-chatos's battle against Et'urny. He won with sheer luck. The fourth was between the first contest's winner, Daskyv'i, and Kit'sune. Daskyv'i won seemingly easily. The first battle of round two was between Peturmiles and Kai'Itop. Kai'Itop won. The second was between Kay-chatos and Daskyv'i. The little red won seemingly easily. The final battle between Kai'Itop and Kay-chatos was rather boring. However, the red of Enzan Shi came in first. Lady Ten'oio nodded proudly to her vampire underling. "Kay-chatos shows promise." She said simply. Then, she and Aikanaro left Rileikoul. Kayun returned home with a victorious Kay-chatos to a disgruntled Kay-chak. Nondar was nowhere to be seen. Probably held up by Tolethven's daughter. Helevorn had isolated himself with Hele'nysar as soon as they returned. "And it seems like today is a normal day." Kayun observed privately to Kay-chatos before the purple pounced on him. main :: members :: drakkin :: stories |
