Luckily I didn't have to go through with labor, I did however have contractions but it seemed that the only time I had them was when I was in the hospital. Which was quite often. I think I was admitted twice before I had them. Each time it was because of my blood pressure. I never knew what it was like to have contractions, with my 8 year old I was induced and had my epideral so early (thank God for Dr. Picazo-what a saint) that I didn't feel any contractions, I remember my friend watching the monitor saying, "Oh my God, u don't feel that?" I was like, "No" Thank God! Right before I was taken up to surgery to have my C-Section I had the worse ones ever. I thought I was dying. My husband said, "Tell them to give u something." I didn't even know then that I was about to give birth, I thought they'd send me home. He was like, "It will all be over soon." Yeah whatever, was he feeling the pain????
So, anyway the nurse comes in and said she was gonna draw some more blood, they couldn't get any, my vains were collapsing. My platelets were low. They said I'd probably have to be put to sleep. NO PAIN!!! "Great" I thought. Yeah, whatever. I had horrendous pain afterwards. I guess having my tubes tied didn't help. But it was worth every minute of it. So, they take me up to the delivery waiting area and I waited for like 3 hours. I was so miserable and in so much pain all I wanted was they to be out of me. Finally, I go to delivery and it smells like anestesia (ugh I know I spelled that wrong) They tell me to breath 3 big breaths in the oxygen mask and by the time I got to the third one I must have been out because when I woke up all I remember is seeing my doctor giving me the thumbs up. And I didn't get to see my babies for 2 days.......
