I never thought I'd have another baby. When I had my seven year old I thought he would be the only one. After the pain of the c-section (people say you forget? Wrong!!!)I was so determined to never ever have another. As the years rolled by I longed for the touch of a newborn once again. So, my husband and I decided to try to have another one.
After trying for a little over a year I had finally just about given up. I figured the more we tried the harder it would be. If I gave up I thought it would happen. Well, turns out I was right. The night I took the test I was in shock. I kinda couldn't believe it. I took several pregnancy tests. In fact I think I took 3. So I was due for my annual pap smear and had already had an appointment so I called my doctor anyway to schedule my first prenatal. Of course they had to send me out to get lab work done just to make sure. But there was no doubt in my mind how the test would come out. I called two days later and the nurse advised me to just hold off on my scheduled appointment for my prenatal because I was definitely pregnant. She said they wanted to make sure I was at least 12 weeks. So I held off, and thats just the beginning......
