The Anns Creek Railroad is a 2 ft gauge industrial line approx 4 miles long. It exists in life to transport coal from three mines in the vicinity of Anns Creek, WV to a loadout and coke ovens at Cassville. The basic trackplan is shown below, The No3 yard is currently underconstruction, and No1 yard is in the beginning planning stages. I'm still trying to decide where to put the engine facilities, either the No1 or No2 yards.

After review supply listings I beleive
that construction of No1 yard will postponed until later this summer.
I have devised an operating scenario that can be carried out without it
being physically represented, in addition I have determined that
I will need 2 locomtives and 20 freight cars to begin the operating pattern,
and another locomotive and at least 5 more freight cars once No1 yard is
complete. The actual deciding feature for the freight car total will
be the capacity of No1 yard. For the time being I have elected to
place engine facilities centrally at No2 yard. Lets take a look at
how I envison a
day on the Anns Creek Railroad.
