| June 8, 2002 - Feedings are going good. I'm sleeping longer at night. Mom is always with me, feeding me. Dad woke up late today. Mom said he was working too late. After lunch, we watched Daddy clean his motorcycle. Mom and I sat in a chair and told Dad where he missed a spot or two or three. Then he went for a ride. Mom said we got a call from the crib makers and my new crib is on its way!!! Dad came home with more milk and cheese. Dad opened all the windows today and I could hear so many new noise. Birds chirping, kids playing, people talking, and some airplans fly by. Tonight, while Dad was reading Banph to me, my diaper leaked and Dad got wet. Now I'm all changed and happy. Dad has no shirt on. June 9, 2002 - Up all day playing and watching everyone. I wet on a few of my outfits today. Just can't seem to hold it when they change me. It must be the fresh air!!! Mom and I watch Dad mow the lawn after supper. He was pretty fast. By the time he finished, Mom and I were in bed. June 10, 2002 - I kept Dad up most of the night. I just wasn't tired or ready for bed after my 3:00am feeding. I fell asleep at 5:30am. Very rough morning. I think Mom and Dad are getting very tired. Dad had to work this morning. That left just Mommy for a couple of hours. More like five hours. When Dad was done they laughed at me while I made funny faces and noises while sleeping. When I woke they were both looking over top of me. I have a few bumps on my face. Mom says it's from the breast milk and it will go away. I can't really see them. June 11, 2002 - WOW! It's had to believe I'm almost 3 weeks old! Feedings are right on schedule. I was on my tummy more today. I sure am getting this neck control thing together. I can look side to side on my back or on my tummy. I'm working on holding my big head up longer. Dad says I'll grow into my head soon. Mom got a call from the crib factory. My crib is suppose to come tomorrow morning! Grandpa Randy got me that cool setup. Mom and Dad have been laughing at me so hard when I've been tooting. I can't help it. It just comes out all the time. Must be Mom's milk. I got my first NUK today. Put me right to sleep. I just sucked and sucked untill I fell asleep. I've been sleepy all day. I hope I sleep all night too, give Mom a break. June 12, 2002 - We're up so early today that we took a quick nap at 8:30am. I played with Dad's hair in bed while he was sleeping. He has lots of hair. I got a bath today. Not very much fun. After my bath, I did get to put on my new Angel outfit that Great, Great Aunt Totter got me. So cute.. OOoooo!! My new crib came in that Grandpa Randy got me. And, it has a changing table too (Mom already has it setup). There both pretty big. Dad put it together and I already played in it. I might try sleeping in it tonight. I'll just test it now. June 13, 2002 - I didn't sleep in my crib last night. I'm getting my days and nights a little mixed up. I'm up more and more during the night, especially the early morning hours. I'm going to have to play more during the day. My eyes are turning brown. Now I wonder how brown. Dad just picked my first noise goober. I'm just a bit fussy today. I think because Mom and Dad are trying to get me back on track for sleep. Went for a car ride to the mall today. It was very quick, but atleast I got out and was scrolled around, so I'm told. I slept the whole time. The car ride sure does put me to sleep. June 14, 2002 - Dad had to goto work for a little bit today. He was back just after lunch. He gave me raspberries before he left all over my neck. When Dad got home, we went to the grocery store and got some big people food. I've been more alert to lights on the bouncy and the music that plays. I had about 30 minutes of tummy time throughout the day. Did pretty good with my big head problem. My eyes are really brown today. I think this color will stick. Mom says they're more like her shade of brown. Dad keeps singing the ABC's to me. Sure wish I could talk and tell him he is way off key. I got a puzzle board with my name on it from Aunt Joyce and Uncle David. Very neat. June 15, 2002 - Today started early. I wasn't able to do my 3 1/2 hour feedings. I guess I'm have a growth spurt. Since Mom was up with me feeding, Dad decided to water the lawn at 5:00am. I heard the birds chirping again, that was nice. Well, it's back to sleep for me and Mom, 5:30am. I'm up an hour later. Dad took me outside and we listened to more birds singing and watched Dad's Rain Train water the grass, shrubs and flowers. It was cool this morning, but Dad had me all wrapped up. This afternoon, I went for my first stroller ride! It was fun, but then I feel asleep. It must be something abut moving that puts me to sleep. What I do remember was the nice breeze that came across the window of the stroller. I made the lights on my bouncy come on by kicking. I blew bubbles with my mouth. June 16, 2002 - HAPPY FATHER'S DAY I'm up and ready to play today. Mom and I got Dad this nice picture of me and him when I was first born for Father's Day. It was really great! And, I'm wearing my Daddy's Little Boy outfit. Mommy gave Daddy this e-card that's really sweet. I went for another stroller ride today and I sleep through most of it too. I'm holding my head up more, but I'm not liking the tummy thing. I talked a bunch today. Dad was listening and talking back too, but I didn't understand him. I watched my first NASCAR race. It was very long. I slept and fed through most of it, but I did watch the end with Dad. They are fast and go around and around. Page 3 |
