ANIMAL-HUMAN COLLAGE!!!!!

Objective

Students will examine, appreciate, and learn about the similarities between animals and humans (expressions, abilities, movement, emotions)

Materials

• magazines that include pictures of people and animals in a variety of circumstances
• large paper
• glue
• scissors

Method

• Ask students to flip through the magazines and cut out pictures of people or animals
• When finished, then ask students to glue the pictures on a large piece of paper. For older students, you may want to encourage them to organize the pictures into groups based on the different situations or reasons for the similarities they chose to focus on
• Display the collages and have a class discussion on the many different reasons people dance
