There's rarely a dull moment with Shaq, Kobe & Crew, who have a knack for creating excitement when the regular season grind grows tedious. Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant, now best buddies, feuded last season. Then there was Shaq miffed at coach Phil Jackson for a time, Jackson taking some subtle potshots at O'Neal, then O'Neal taking a roundhouse shot at then-Chicago Bulls center Brad Miller about 1� months ago. Just when O'Neal was back from his suspension and the two-time NBA champions were looking serene and formidable again, Bryant stirred things up by throwing a punch at Indiana's Reggie Miller on March 1. "If somebody comes at me, I'm going to defend myself," said Kobe, who may face a possible suspension after the altercation.

Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal got their points on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough to combat Kevin Garnnett and the Timberwolves, as Los Angeles fell 112-101 in Minnesota. O'Neal tallied a team-high 27 points, Bryant added 20 and Robert Horry chipped in with 15 points and seven rebounds for the Lakers, who will return home on Friday to take on the Pacers.

The booing began when Kobe Bryant was introduced, continued after he
made a series of game-turning plays and reached a crescendo when he was handed the All-Star MVP trophy. Back in his hometown where the
fans show him no love, Bryant received none Sunday. Instead, he was practically treated like a traitor by the notoriously harsh Philadelphia
fans.
�I was pretty upset,� Bryant said. �The boos were hurtful, but it�s not going to ruin this day for me.� Bryant scored 31 points � the most in an All-Star game since Michael Jordan had 40 in 1988 � in the arena where he walked off the court last June with his second championship, leading the Western Conference over the East 135-120 on Sunday. �What made me feel good though, at the end, was that the more people booed, some people started clapping and cheering even harder. That made me feel good,� Bryant said.
�I felt bad for him, real bad,� Iverson said. �To hear the booing took a lot out of it. A lot of people, if they thought about it, what if it was their kid up there?�
