What is your childhood history in Scouting?

When I was young girls were in Guiding and boys were in Scouting. I was a Brownie and then moved onto Guides. I have fond memories of the experiences that I enjoyed.

What is your childhood fondest memory in Scouting?

Camps, Camps, Camps, being away from home, sleeping under the stars and enjoying the great outdoors.

What are you currently doing in Scouting?

I am presently CHIL as an assistant leader and Co-Fundraising Chairperson for the Ile Perrot Scout Group. I get to enjoy being with the youth and creating fond memories with them. I am also involved in finding new and innovative ways of raising monies for new equipment and adventures.

What are your short term goals for yourself in Scouting?

I have just completed my Wood Badge criteria and will be receiving my leather woggle in the weeks to come. I will soon obtain my First Aid certification and am now working my way to earning my Wood Badge Advanced.

What are your short term goals for Shawnee?

I want to teach the youth to appreciate the opportunities available to them that do not involve modern day technologies. I want to teach them the wonders of games, songs, the art conversation, learning to live in a community with pride and most of all learning to always strive to do their best.

What are your long term goals for yourself in Scouting?

To be one of the geriatric Gilwell members that new leaders are always calling to see if I want to help them out at camps and in their planning.

What are your long term goals for Shawnee?

To continue to see its programming evolve and being innovative in its teaching.
