Dogs

Smoky, the faithful lab-mix mom found abandoned as a pup in the Smoky Mountains.  Hence the name.  He is very active, and loves people that he knows well.  He's staring at what he believes is Santa Claus.  It's really just Peanut, but I didn't want to have to be the one to break it to him.
This bundle of fluff is Chloe, our half-cocker, half-westie pup.  She is made of fur and tightly-wound springs.
Lucy, our elderly West Highland White Terrier, whose sole purpose in life is to chase offending squirrels from within the confines of her backyard.  Her favorite food is cheese.
Brownie, the abandoned mutt that we adopted from our negligent neighbors, is older than I am.  He has arthritis and is going grey in the face, but he's still got the heart of a pup.
Chloe got groomed!  Yes, I swear that's the same dog.  You can really see her cocker spaniel-ness in these pictures.  We had to take that little pink bow out of her hair because, #1 it didn't match her bandanna, and #2 it was tugging at her sensitive little scalp hairs.  She's actually laying behind me right now in the leather chair in the computer area, watching me type.  Her dinner tonight consisted of Hamburger Helper and Kraft Shells 'n' Cheese.
Classic Westie.
Lucy finally got groomed, too!  She's so cute in her little bandanna and bow.  I wish they would have painted her nails blue, too, but they overlooked that point.  She's spent the day in the house, which she really liked, and has been doing nothing but assaulting my collection of stuffed animals and laying around snoozing.
