| A Walk In The Night | ||||
| Darkness falls and I hear the never ending torment of the nightime sky. Blues turn to gold and fade ashen violet on a soft summer night. I walk again in the moonlight and feel the moss crush beneath my feet. I hear a soft whisper through the trees, touching my heardened heart. Fadded memories and shattered dreams float across the clear-blue lagoon I pass in my wake. The moon is ever watchful and looks upon me with it's sad troubled eyes. Where I am going I do not know, yet I feel I have walked this road before. Something, somewhere, someplace is trying to catch me. I feel a presence on the wind, in a song, in night and in day. The past is catching me, or perhaps the future is pushing me forward. A dark shadow fills me, envelops me, and I am wrapped in it's cold presence. I fear the worst, as I run into the night. |
