| Finally we lost the guys, and drove on to the Anti-Spy HQ. It was once again a nice looking building, only spiffier this time. We pulled the car into the garage below the building. We got the stuff out of the car, and walked over to the elevator. Meaghan walked over to an intercom and said �Agent M, Meaghan.� and the door opened. She nodded me over, as if to do the same thing. �Agent S, Shawn.� And I walked into the elevator. It seemed like the elevator was taking forever. Finally, it stopped, and we got out. I walked out to a spacious lobby, where several seats wear, and a blue carpet was. �Whoever designed this place has some good taste.� I said, as I walked past many paintings on the wall, and several standing sculptures. We walked down a long, white hallway, and stopped at a door with the letter B on it. Agent M knocked on the door, and the door flew open. �Hello! Its nice to see you again Agent M! And Agent S! Its nice to meet you in person.� She said and beckoned us to come in. �Sit, both of you, please.� She said, and walked over to her desk, which was covered with what looked like many case files. �I would like to talk to both of you.� She started in. �I would like the two of you to help us search for the new boss�s hideout. We have already sent several teams out in search of it, but have not had such luck. But I believe that you two could find it.� �Did you try looking for any buildings with signs like �The Conspirators Hideout�?� Meaghan said, and gave me a look. �Don�t be ridiculous Agent M. They would not have such a sign.� I looked at Meaghan, and it looked as if she was lip-syncing �Yeah right�. �But we have several ideas of where he could be, and we would appreciate if you two would go and search for it.� �I guess we could. Could I at least put my stuff up?� I asked, and looked around her office. �Why yes, of course. Just come back whenever you two are up to your mission.� She said, and walked us to the door. �Have a nice day.� �You too.� I muttered and walked off. Her door shut and Meaghan started in on her. �That lady is so frappin� annoying! She doesn�t know what she is talking about. I have heard her speeches. No good at all. She has no clue where they are. �They would not have such a sign.�� She said, in a very good imitation of Agent B�s voice. �Well, She would have no clue cause she hasn�t been out looking for them.� I finally arrived at the door with a S. I tried to turn the knob and it didn�t open. �What�s wrong with it?� I asked, and looked towards Meaghan. �Its voice-activated kinda. Just say �Agent S, Shawn.� like you did for the elevator.� I did as I was told and the door opened. �Neat.� I said, and walked into the room. I had a desk and everything. It was awesome, just as my room had been at the old HQ. I dragged in my suitcase while Meaghan hooked up my computer. �Thanks again.� I said, as she finished hooking up the computer. �No problem.� She said, and started walking for the door. �Wait, hold on. Where is the kitchen and bathrooms and all?� I asked. �If you need anything, there is a map on the back of your door.� She said, giving a smile. �And your bathroom is the door on your left in your hallway. Talk to you later.� She said, and walked out. Okay�I thought. I unpacked all my stuff, and put it where I guess it should have gone, and then took a shower. I got out and put some clean clothes on and walked over to the map. Apparently, the kitchen was on the bottom level of this place. So I walked out and managed after 20 minutes to find it. I walked over to the line and was surprised to see that same old lady working in the cafeteria. �What would you like today?� She asked, in a nicer tone than the last time I heard her. �Um�a hamburger and some fries please.� I said, and she handed me my tray. I walked over and grabbed a Coke from vending machines, and found a place to sit. The cafeteria was a lot smaller than the one at the old place. After I ate my food, I walked back to the white hallway, and walked up to the door with the letter M on it. I knocked, and after a minute, she came to her door. �I�m ready to go on that mission if you are.� I said. �Okay, you may want to get your coat and stuff.� She said and walked to get her coat. I walked down the hallway and reached my door. �Agent S, Shawn.� I said, and the door opened. I grabbed my coat and put some of the bottles of water I had taken from the vending machine into the pockets. I walked back down the hall and met up with Meaghan, and walked to door B. |
