The room, pale and quiet, seemed dreary as I walked through the door frame and saw several pairs of eyes set upon my tired body. I blankly stared into the eyes of those who wondered into my own, and finally took my sit in the corner, away from those who had criticized me forever and a day.
The corner, as usual, was covered in shadows as the lights flickered on and off. I slipped into my seat as my back gracefully met with the usual hard plastic seating. I let myself slowly daze off as the world of school meant nothing to me. As my eyes slowly fell shut, my head landed upon my desk, and I was out cold.
In the outside world, my lifeless body was ignored by all. The teacher incoherently checked the roll, and saw that I had already fallen into my permanent slumber. The medication must have already kicked in was the only thought she had. My fellow classmates ignored me as well, as they were too busy copying homework last minute, or possibly just chatting and wishing how they could all be at home in bed and not be stuck in school.
But they had no idea of what was going through my own mind. The whole process would be perhaps too complex for some of these kids of my own age. They had no idea of how much my family and few friends had driven me to the edge and back. They always seemed to do that. It had just been one of those days. During the first few minutes of waking myself from my usual non-existent slumber, I heard several well-chosen curses yelled in my general direction and was told to get ready for the sadistic school of vicious slave handlers.
Walking out the front door, I heard more yells towards myself, and the unusual phone that came flying towards my head. Of course I should have known what to expect, but I am never too sure anymore. It was my friends of course, calling to chew me out. Mainly so because I had forgotten to pick them up, as I am sure they never said I was supposed to and in their own little world, this would all be my fault.
By the time I arrived at school, I had wished that a semi or two would have ran into my car a couple of times, but my non-existent luck stopped that as well. Then again though, this said luck did not stop the girl I have liked since third grade to walk up and say hi to me, and then myself in an angered state saying Im pissy, back off, which most definitely ended up scaring her off and quite possibly make her ignore me for the rest of my eternal life.
The medication in my bag wasnt quite going to do much damage to my system, but I could only hope

As I opened my eyes, the class room was left empty, the door closed, and the night had taken over. I was still left in the shadows.
