The sheets cover me as I dwell

In this place of darkness known as hell

I try to sleep upon my calling

Trapped inside the horrid walling

The bed posts tower above the skies

Demons call, from behind my eyes

Of this is known, of the insomnia hour

My eyes stay open, taken over by power

The sleep tries to take over my soul

But however, I can not handle this toll

Eyes wide open, watching shadows move

Darkness slowly lifts, the shadows disprove

The light raises throughout the panes

Cars begin to go, and drive through lanes

I still possess no will power to sleep

So all that I do, is lay in bed and weep
