The devil woman came to me in a dream one night

Her haunting figure, ghostly and see-through

There she appeared, an utterly disgusting fright

The night-mare horror, nothing could out do

In her slow pace, she inched closer to my side

She grew closer, inch by inch, until she realized my stare

It was far too late, no possible way to hide

I felt by her gaze, I couldn't move, I would not dare

My thoughts were scrambled, unable to think

She touched my face with her cold, feeble grasp

The last thing I heard, was the devil woman speak

"You are of no importance", while in her deadly clasp

Dragging my body, she went on her path

Through old hollows, past old tombs

Murdering the young, taking their souls with her wrath

Killing the youth, still in their mothers' wombs
