My Bugsy
This is Bugsy.  She was born in April 1998.  I adopted her from the pound in Concord Vermont in July of 1998.  I was told that she was a Collie/Shepard mix.  As time went by, I came to find out that, in truth, Bugsy is ACTUALLY a Collie/Coydog mix.  Yes,...the blood of the wild Coyote runs through her veins.  She is extremely smart, although a bit on the rambunctious and  on the spastic side.  She's extremely loving and playful and she is wonderful with everyone she meets, especially my kids and my friend Mikey.  Always quick to learn and quick to play, she was my sole companion for more than a year.  She is especially close to my daughter Chantille. Yes,...deep down, Bugsy is a girl's dog.  I named her Bugsy, because when she came into the pound, she had a nasty case  of fleas and one voracious little Tick, who had glued himself to her eyelid.  Removing him was fun.  Hence the name "Bugsy"  I was going to change her name to Lucky, since within 10 minutes of bringing her home, she bit through a lampcord and got a nasty shock. She survived..and I love her.

My Moo-Cow
This is my Moo-Cow. No,..I did NOT name him!  I call him Moo-Moo or Moo, or even Moose.  Truth is he will answer to just about anything he is called.  Moo was born in February 1998 and is a Box/Shepard mix.  I adopted him in August 1999  from the same pound where I got Bugsy.  Moo is the ULTIMATE lover boy.  Basically, Moo is a 50 pound lump of unquestioning love that thinks he still belongs in your lap at all times.  He loves everyone he meets and it seems to be mutual, according to those who meet him.  He excels at playing stupid, but is quite ingenous, especially at breaking out of his pen or his house kennel. I swear, if he had an opposable thumb, he would be a terror!  He's extremely co-dependant and is literally at my side, on my feet, in my lap, or beside me on the bed at all times.  And yes,.. even the bathroom gives no respite, unless I latch the door.  Oyvey!   I wanted a lovable slob that was good with kids and a good snuggle-bunny, and I have definitely found those things in Moo-Moo.  Moo tends to favor men over women, but that's cool, ain't it Moo?

My Friend Mikey's Pets
These are some of my dear friend Mikey D's pets.  I think of these guys as my extended family.  Mikey has quite a menagerie at his small place in Concord, Vermont.  His animals are his whole life.  Try to imagine 5 dogs running amok in a 10x50 mobile home, then throw in a couple of Cockatiels, assorted puppies now and then,...  (Mikey raises AKC Miniature Daschunds)  At one point last winter, he had 6 dogs, 3 baby goats, 3 cockatiels, an assortment of tropical fish and a bazillion houseplants in that little place.  When I visit him each week, my own two pups go along to.  Crowded?...perhaps, but there's more love in that little home than a person knows what to do with.  They say pet owners are a little crazy sometimes. Well, Mikey may be crazy, but he's got lot's of love in that home.
