Last weekend we pressed the Cabernet. Well, when I say "we", I mean mostly me. Dave said, "come on over and we'll press", but what he meant was, "I'll putter around while you press." He had some other folks there as well that had just picked a few hundred pounds of Zin. Fortunately a couple of those guys took pity on me and ended up lending a hand. And I must say that the chicken Dave cooked was excellent, so he's not completely useless.

This weekend it's bottling time for last year's Merlot. So everyone come on over and bring a bottle. This year's Merlot will then go into the emptied barrel, and then I should be able to get around my garage much easier!
