............. STRATH HAVEN BOYS TRACK HISTORY

    Strath Haven's first track team for boys was guided by the late Jules Re-

petto who guided the team to it's first three Central League titles in the 80 s.

Coach Repetto was originally the highly successful coach of the Nether

Providence boys teams in the 60 s and 70 s.Coach Jesson and Coren 

came to Strath Haven , after Coach Repetto took ill, in 1991 to carry on 

the his already successful program and put their own stamp on it. As you

can see by the records Strath Haven is continuing the tradition of fielding

excellent track and field teams in the new millenium.Since 91 Strath Haven

boys have won 82, tied 1, and lost 7. In that span they have won 3 Central

League Titles, 1 district title, and 1 state title. They have produced 10

high school All Americans,over 15 All State performers,and more than 

25 All Delco first teamers.Best of all,over 25 of our alumni have competed

at the collegiate level for such schools as,Yale Princeton, James Madison,

Maryland, Harvard, Cornell, West Chester, Millersville, Columbia,St. Joes,

Florida State, and Temple. This year three of our alumni will be running at

Middlebury, Ursinus and West Chester.As you can see our accomplishments 

are many but wouldn�t been attained without the help of the many assiss-

tants , great athletes and the best parents in the world.We hope to continue

our tradition of great teams and individuals for many years to come!
