The car was actually given to me by a friend as a birthday present, but it need a bunch of work. Well, my uncle and I stripped the car down to bare metal, fixed all the dents, and repainted it(in the back yard hahaha).
About a week and a half after the body work was done, the engine blew up, so me and the guy that gave me the car, took the old 305 out and dropped in a fresh small block 400 that had been bored .060 over. That takes it up to about 421-422 ci.Let me tell you something, that sucker is fast!!! I don't have any time slips yet, because about two weeks after we put the new engine in, the tranny went out on it. So I'm still saving up to buy the tranny, but I will keep you posted as to what's going on.
