This is the place to appreciate the creative talents of the spectators who come up with some very witty, humorous and on many occasions, very meaningful banners. And if you see a banner that you think deserves to be on this site, email me and I'll add it to the list. But remember, it shouldn't be obscene and it ought to be in support of SA cricket!! Also, you may send me the funny things you heard people say, the chants or anything else you feel is worthy of a place on this page!

Here are some banners I remember seeing myself -

During the World Cup 1999 : "Shaun - Jou Lekker Ding!!" (which in Afrikaans means Shaun - you sweet thing!!) LOL!!

During the first match that Shaun captained after taking over from Hansie in May 2000 - "Shaun, Win or Lose. We are with you" a very touching statement indeed!

During one of the ODIs versus Australia in South Africa April 2002 - "Aussies, we WARNE you, we will soon be on the RHODES to victory"

Another  one from the same series  - "We'll swap you Kallis for Kylie" And what do the sane Aussies have to say to that - "SURE!!!!! I'd rather call Jacques Kallis an Aussie over Kylie Minogue any day!" And how did the sane Proteas react - "Nope, I am not giving away Kallis for damn Kylie. No way, not even for two Kylie." LOL! (BTW, this banner and the SA and Aussie replies have been taken from one of the messages at the Jonty Zulu group)

Some series way back in 1997 - "JONTY RHODES BOUNCING HERE AND THERE HE'S OUR GUMMY BEAR....." this again caught my attention while going through the messages at the Jonty Zulu group.
