The South Africa captain has little time to rest
County Championship D1, Edgbaston: Warwickshire v Lancashire
South Africa captain Shaun Pollock will be chauffeur-driven from Heathrow to
play for Warwickshire on Wednesday after jetting in from Cape Town.
Pollock's flight is due in during the early hours of the morning and he will
barely be able to catch his breath before taking his place in the Warwickshire
side.
But the Bears will be without batsman Mark Wagh who has been ruled out for three
months after undergoing surgery to repair torn knee ligaments sustained during
training.
Lancashire are set to name an unchanged side after their edge-of-the-seat,
single-wicket victory over Leicestershire on Monday.
