I am getting a little nostalgic right now and that's the only reason why you
are seeing this page on the site....(its pretty much useless otherwise!) Not
that there is any particular explanation for this musing, sometimes things go
about in my head for no reason at all. And today is just another of those days.
The site started in the first
week of February 2001 and has come a long long way since the early days. I
remember writing on the first home page that I designed- "What started
purely as a personal website ended up completely dedicated to Shaun Pollock.
Judge for yourself how much I adore him!" And this holds good till date.
The first version of the site
was only a way for me to prove to myself that I could make a full fledged
website, and I think I was pretty much satisfied with what I did. Then during
the June 2001 holidays, I went about revamping it. The designing part sure is
engrossing, but what I remember the most are the morning walks during which
ideas seemed to dawn upon me! I love every second I've put in to build this
site, while designing and otherwise. And in the due course of time, its also won
an award!

The site's been through many
facelifts recently (the past homepages shown below) but I have tried to stick to
the main theme of choosing colors that express exuberance and joy. Some people
tell me that it looks too colorful but that's the way I like it and its my site!
June 2002 - The site has got a
new theme, a complete makeover! As much as I liked the multicolored look of the
site, it was time to do something different. So here it is! Green background
with white text! (two of my favorite colors!!) And I really hope all of you like
it too! Its taken me months to finalize on the new theme and I am happy at last!
I owe a lot to people who have
assisted me in building this website, the contributors, all those who signed my
guestbook, emailed and encouraged me. I love you all!! And let me add that I
have no hard feelings for those who sent in the hate mails, I wish you the best
in life and pray that God grants you wisdom and goodwill.
This website means a lot to me
and I always look forward to expanding it. Call it a passion if you like, but I
want this site to be the best fan site on the net. Shaun is so good, he deserves
nothing but the best!
