My Online Report

The business is Clifton's Rabbits. It's located in Porterville, California. Its goals are to sell 500 rabbits by Easter.

I first thought of people who I could have as a client. I went to my neighbor Alvin Clifton. He's been my family's neighbor for 30 years. He's like an unofficial grandfather to me. I asked him if he would be my client. I explained to him what I was doing and why. He was more than happy to participate. He sells domestic Rabbits. He's been selling them for 30 years. I remember when I would go to his house and went in his backyard seeing all the rabbits. I asked him what type of rabbits he has. How much do they cost. How many weeks old they're when he starts selling them. What ways he's promoted his business. I took pictures of rabbits he has. It was interesting to get the rabbits to take pictures. I had to get them to come out of hiding to take a picture. We had to take several shots to get it right.

I wanted the design to look like it went with the business. I look for rabbit backgrounds, pics, and gifs. I choose colors that were spring and Easter colors.

I used the textbooks to follow the correct styles. I look at other sites to get an idea of how they put everything together. I used some techniques I learned.

I looked at A Netherland Dwarf rabbits for sale and Rabbits for sale and wanted both were in the same category as mine.

The homepage is enticing is fits the purpose. It's very consistent from page to page. You can tell you're on the same site. I have sufficient content about the business. Browsers would like to look at my site, because I think it's real cute. I will continue to keep it update. Users can contact the client thru email or a guest book. The website will continue to be update when needed. Readers can sign the guest book, have comments, and questions.

Overall, I think it was an success. It was a real good learning experience. I got to know a little more information about rabbits. I'd do another site for another client if need be.
