Scotland's Royal Gidget: American Saddlebred Mare, owned by Mary 1998 to 1999. Mom sold Gidget to her previous owner's when she moved. Gidget was a true lady and an accomplished show horse, that anyone could ride. |

GEORGE: George was a 15 year old Appendix QH gelding, owned by Vershire Riding Academy in Vershire, Vermont. The winter of 1996 to spring 1997, I leased George from them. He was a challenge, but I truly enjoyed his time with me. |

Peaches & Duke: In 1979, Mom & I often rode at a horse rental place in Florida. I was 8 years old and rode a lovely chestnut Thoroughbred mare, Peaches. Mom rode a brilliant QH gelding, Duke. When we decided it was time to buy horses, we tried to buy them. Unfortunately, Peaches had been euthanized due to back problems a few days earlier. Duke, an accomplished Barrel Racer, had been sold to a teenager who took him to the junior rodeo circuit. A lost opportunity, we still miss them. |
