CHULO & CHRISTINA
In 1980, we purchase our first horses.  Chulo was a QH/Standardbred gelding, 16.2 hands tall, chestnut with a blaze.  Christina was a strawberry roan Appaloosa mare, 15.3 hands tall.  Ages unknown.  Christina always looked pregnant, but she wasn't.  Chulo was always a little underweight despite excellent vet care, just a hard keeper.   We learned Chulo was only greenbroke when we bought him, he'd been drugged when we tried him out!  Mom was thrown the first time she rode him at home, but he turned out to be a great ride for me!.

Horses have always been in our blood.
