"Humor is your own smile surprising you in the mirror."
Langston Hughes
I am a Nocturnal Kind!

I have had a transition in the recent past from a couch potato to a mouse potato.

With mellow music treating ears, romantic lighting like the luminance of a candle light pleasing eyes, perfect cooling maintained to relax and Mom's Food in my dining table called the PC table, I prefer sitting in front of the computers all the time.

With the power of the internet, I have the world to browse with my mouse clicks :-)

In my cot, I have two pictures of Anna Kournikova :-) I love those two not just for the mere photography alone but for the unembellished beauty in Anna Kournikova! Also for the thoughts that hover my mind when I see the pictures!
When I see the portrait
I feel there are things we do with lots of conviction. But like someone said Man plans! God laughs! He is right! When the result is an unexpected fiasco and the efforts are not appreciated. We feel disappointed at the outcome. Tears may follow depending on the amount of passion you put in. But after a brief period, even without our knowledge, unalloyed smile breaks out of our lips thinking why it went wrong and thanking that it happened for all the learnings accompanied! Knowing in life, its only the efforts that are in our hands which we have to believe and continue to put in.
Our greatest glory lies not in never falling but in rising every time we fall!
                                   --- Confucius
Life is full of expectations.
We expect people to realize, recognize and reciprocate. With such an unalloyed look, with the bountiful craving for love, with an awe of why there is no one in the whole world to understand and appreciate who I am and with a feeling like someday everything will fall in place and someone would make me happy just by being on my side without even uttering a word knowing like what I am worth and what I would do for them and that I would love them more than what they can imagine.

I always thought looking back on the times I cried would make me laugh; but I never knew looking back on the times I laughed would make me cry.
"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans. "
