Serampore College
Serampore College has an environment of its own. Historically it is one of Asia's oldest college. The two years that I spent there were totally incredible. The main building of the college is a brilliant piece of Victorian architecture. It houses the library and Arts classes. Just besides this building is the huge football ground with its lush green grass. I still remember Jaguda who used to accompany our team to all cricket matches.
The science department is in a separate complex, a much modern building. It houses the Chemistry, Physics, Biology departments. The Commerce and Arts departments are besides this building.
It is here that I met Kaushik Neogy. Some other great friends whom I met here are Debdoot (Baglaa), Jayanta, Rana, Indranil, Sougata...
