Oh happy day! Mitch has arrived safely at Fort Hood, Texas this afternoon. He called his Mama, is driving his BMW Z3 , and taking a much deserved R&R for the next couple days. Then he has 2 weeks of re-orientation to reality (like "stay inside the lines, and don't run over stuff in your way!") Then he gets a 30 day leave to find a place to live and unpack the storage. So I will be flying out April 9 to visit him there for a week. Then he returns to Army life and starts his Military Intelligence training. No guarantee's that he won't have a second stint in Iraq, but we won't worry about that today. Please take a moment of silence or say a pray of thanks for our Hero's safe homecoming today, and for the safety of others that replaced the 1st Cav. I can sleep tonight, and I thank you all for your support this past very long year. I tore off the yellow ribbons tonight! Love, Sue
